Education and professional background

Graduated in Law (bilingual mention French/German) at the University of Fribourg in 1997, obtained the Federal Certificate of Tax Expert in 2002. He joined Cortesi & Associati in Lugano in 1998, where he became a Member of the Management in 2002 and then a Partner in 2015. He has over 20 years of experience in tax consulting in Switzerland (national and international), particularly taxation of corporates and individuals and tax litigation. Individual member of EXPERTsuisse since 2002.

 

Other principal activities

• Member of the Expert Group for the exams for the Federal Certificate of Specialist in Finance and Accounting;
• Member of the Board of Directors of FINMA’s supervised financial intermediaries;
• Speaker at courses and conferences on tax matters;
• Municipal Councilor in the Municipality of Origlio (member of the Control Committee).
