What data do we process and where does it come from?
Browsing data
We collect information about you when you use this website. We automatically collect data about your use of and interaction with us. This access data includes, for example, the referring URL, IP address, date and time of access, volume of data transferred, browser type and version, operating system, and cookies. For what purposes do we process personal data?
The Bank processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection law. The purposes pursued are outlined below:

b. Customer relationship management. For example, for:
- Assist you with logins;
- Allow you to provide feedback;
- Resolve any disruptions; and
- Manage the social media community.
c. Product implementation and execution. For example, to:
- Improve the quality of our products and services and our use of technologies.
d. Engage in prospecting and business development and/or protect and enhance the Axion brand. For example, to:
- contact you regarding products and services;
- enhance our marketing and promotions.
e. Compliance and Risk Management and/or Crime Prevention, Detection and Investigation. For example, to:
- conduct due diligence or AML checks on content and metadata; and
- comply with regulatory requirements, including "books and records" oversight and filing requirements
- recruitment marketing and application management. For example, to monitor the performance of candidate source channels and track the source of candidates.
Who has access to personal information?
Axion may share your information with affiliated companies and its agents and service providers, located inside or outside your country of residence in order to provide Axion with services, within the scope of the purposes specified above. Our affiliates, agents and third party vendors who have access to Personal Data collected through the Axion Sites will be required to protect your privacy, comply with legal obligations and respect contractual safeguards.
Axion may also share your information with government agencies and entities, regulatory authorities, or other persons, as required by law, regulation, judicial order, or official request, applicable to us, and for the purposes set forth in the guidelines and guidance provided by regulatory or other authorities, or similar processes under applicable law.
Is personal data transferred abroad or to an international organization?
The transfer of personal data to entities or states outside Switzerland takes place in the following ways:
- provided it is necessary for the execution of orders (e.g., payment and/or securities orders);
- provided it is required by law (e.g., as part of the reporting requirements of tax law, automatic exchange of information, etc.);
- provided consent has been given for this purpose.
In some cases, Axion may transfer certain personal data outside the EEA to outside companies working with us or on our behalf for the purposes described in this Data Protection Notice. We transfer your personal data abroad only to countries that are deemed to offer an adequate level of data protection or, in the absence of such legislation providing adequate protection, on the basis of appropriate safeguards (for example, standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission).

Currently, however, Axion does not transfer employee personal data to countries outside the EEA. In the event of any changes, Axion will notify its customers in a timely manner.
How do we protect personal data?
Axion has taken appropriate technical and organizational security measures in order to protect your Personal Data, as collected by Axion through the Axion Sites, from destruction, loss, modification, misuse, disclosure or unauthorized, accidental or unlawful access, as well as from all other unlawful forms of processing.
All personnel who have access to Personal Data are required to comply with internal rules and procedures relating to the processing of your Personal Data in order to protect it and ensure its confidentiality. In particular, we limit access to Personal Information about you to only those employees, agents, and third parties who need to become aware of that information in order to provide services to you.
Please consider that if you provide us with your data on open networks such as the Internet, such networks that are not generally considered secure. Data sent via means such as the Internet (such as to or from Axion's sites or by electronic message) could be accessed by unauthorized third parties, which could then result in a disclosure of information, changes to content, or technical disruption. Even where both sender and recipient are in the same country, data sent via the Internet could be transmitted across national borders and sent to a country with a lower level of personal data protection than the country in which it is located.
Please be aware that Axion will not be responsible for the security of your information when transmitted to Axion via the internet. In order to protect your privacy, we remind you that you may choose other means of communication with Axion, should you deem them appropriate.
What rights does the data subject have?
Every data subject has the right of access, the right to rectification, the right to erasure, the right to restriction of processing, the right to object as well as - where applicable - the right to data portability. There is also a right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority (Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC)). You may revoke at any time the consent given to us to process your personal data. Please note that revocation has no retroactive effect.
